It is fed by several rivers and mainly by the Jordan River, and once the water reaches the Dead Sea, it undergoes evaporation, leaving all its salts and minerals, resulting in an increase in the amount of salt. Currently, the waters of the Dead Sea have a volume of salt ten times greater than that of the other oceans, making any form of aquatic life (fauna or flora) impossible. But on the other hand, with this large increase in salt, it increases its buoyancy, preventing bathers from sinking into its waters. These still have healing and calming properties, in addition to being excellent for aesthetic treatments.
