Tour no. 1 – Jerusalem (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat)
On this tour you will see the most exciting sights of Jerusalem: the Mount of Olives, the Old City, Jaffa Gate and the Jewish Quarter, the Cardo, the Western Wall, the Via Dolorosa and Yad Vashem.
Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city.
Enter the Old City through Jaffa Gate and walk through the Jewish Quarter to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman road. See the Jewish Wailing Wall – the Kotel – and continue to the Christian Quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa ad visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Proceed to the New City to visit Yad Vashem, the Memorial to the Holocaust victims.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Jewish holidays, instead of Yad Vashem the tour will take you to visit the tomb of King David, the room of the Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey.
Tour no. 2 - Massada and Dead Sea (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat)
Today you will learn about Massada and the heroic story of the fighters and you will visit the resort area of the lowest place on earth: the Dead Sea.
Depart Tel Aviv via the Judean hills to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on hearth. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada. Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod, where the Zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans. Visit the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman baths and other findings. Descend by cable car. Travel along the sea and enjoy some free time to swim and float on the Dead Sea.
Note: From the arrival of the cable car to the archaeological site there are 80 steps to climb.
Tour no. 3 - Sea of Galilee, Nazareth and Tiberias (Mon, Wed, Sat)
Enjoy a lovely day watching the outstanding landscape of the lower Galilee.
Depart Tel Aviv via the Coastal Road and the landscape of the Lower Galilee to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue, via Cana, to Tiberias, the lovely resort town. Drive along the Lake Kinnereth to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. Continue to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves, located at the feet of the Golan Heights. Continue to Yardenit, the site where the Jordan River leaves the Sea of Galilee towards the Dead Sea, used as a baptismal site.
Tour no. 4 - Caesarea, Haifa, Acre and Rosh Hanikra (Sun, Tue, Fri)
Drive along the coastal road to Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital and port, with a walking tour of the theatre and the archaeological ruins and excavations.
Continue to Haifa, with a scenic view of the city and the port and its Bahai Gardens. Continue via Nahariya to Rosh Hanikra to visit the limestone grottos on the border with Lebanon.
Return via Acre to visit the Crusaders and Turkish underground city and crypt. Walk through the old city and the Oriental market, the Arab mosque and the old port. Return to Tel Aviv.
